Matthew L. Whitaker has been presenting his LOOK SHARP! Hairstyles at Sensations Salon and Spa since 2015. He attended Roy’s Academy of Hair Design, locally, and has been a professional stylist for 16 years. In the salon setting his focus on communication ensures each client unique attention so that their styling goals can be truly met. He creates individual styles using specific techniques and a knowledge of both cutting edge and classic hairstyles, cuts and colors.

Matthew moved to Louisville in 1994 after attending Indiana University in Bloomington IN, traveling the country and living in Hollywood CA. His background combines studies in Theater, Film and Cultural Anthropology with artistic pursuits including music and sound engineering, as well as technical work in television production. These diverse artistic and technical interests and experiences continue to inform and advance his approach to hair and personal style.
